Stenson Team Wins Omega Mission Hills World Cup

Cleveland Golf/Srixon (SRI Sports Group) congratulates Srixon staffer Henrik Stenson for his outstanding performance which helped secure Sweden's victory at the 2008 Omega Mission Hills World Cup.

Stenson's Swedish tandem had not led in any of the previous rounds and trailed by four shots at the start of the final round, but a scintillating 9-under par 63, which included five birdies on the front nine, helped clinch the second ever World Cup Title for Sweden. "It's been a great week," said Stenson. "Obviously even better when we come out on top." Stenson won the tournament using Srixon I-701 irons and a new Srixon prototype golf ball.
